Jacques Lemans Arena – Sport and Activity in the Heart of St. Veit
The Jacques Lemans Arena, opened in 2005, takes its name from the internationally renowned watch and jewellery manufacturer headquartered in the town.
A Venue for Sports Enthusiasts
The arena has a capacity for around 2,400 spectators, with 620 covered seats and 1,800 standing places. Its natural grass pitch, measuring 105 × 68 metres, meets international standards and is complemented by several training grounds, including a modern artificial turf pitch and a dedicated area for goalkeeper training.
From League Matches to International Fixtures
Since its opening, the arena has served as the home ground of FC St Veit. Alongside regular league matches, it has also hosted international friendlies and U19 national fixtures. Clubs such as Austria Vienna, 1. FC Köln, Hamburger SV and Shakhtar Donetsk have trained or played here.
Sport and Recreation for All Generations
In recent years, the surroundings of the arena have been developed into a versatile leisure zone. A particular highlight is the skatepark, open to young people throughout the year. The wider complex is also used by schools and sports clubs, and offers modern facilities including changing rooms, showers and a restaurant.
