Vituspark
A Natural Retreat Close to the City

Located to the east of St. Veit an der Glan, the Vituspark is a peaceful woodland area just south of the hospital. Spanning roughly five hectares, the park features well-maintained walking paths through a mixed forest of spruce, beech and maple trees.

A wooden pavilion nestled in the greenery offers a pleasant spot to rest. Popular with both locals and visitors, the park is ideal for short breaks, leisurely strolls or gentle nature walks.

A special natural feature is the Vitus Spring, hidden behind the hospital. Its mineral-rich water, high in magnesium and calcium, was once considered to have healing properties. Today, it can still be enjoyed at your own discretion.
